Return & Refund Policy

At Thread Theory, we strive to provide high-quality products and a great shopping experience. Because many of our products are made to order, we do not offer returns or refunds by default. However, we understand that issues can occasionally arise, and we review all requests on a case-by-case basis.

Return Eligibility

Returns are not automatically accepted.

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us at teamthreadtheory@gmail.com within 7 Days of receiving your order. We will review your request and determine whether a return, replacement, store credit, or other resolution may be appropriate.

To be eligible for review, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photographs of the product and packaging (if applicable)

  • Any other relevant information requested by our support team

Return Timeframe

Any concerns regarding your order must be reported within 7 Days of delivery.

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

Refund Policy

Thread Theory does not provide refunds by default.

Refund requests are reviewed individually based on the circumstances of each case. Approval of a refund is at the sole discretion of Thread Theory.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 Business Days after approval.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor to reflect the refund in your account.

Exchanges

We do not offer automatic exchanges.

If you received an incorrect item, defective product, or have another order-related issue, please contact us at teamthreadtheory@gmail.com. We will review your case and determine the most appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement product.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at teamthreadtheory@gmail.com within 7 Days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the problem

Upon review, we may offer a replacement, store credit, refund, or another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products ordered in the wrong size, color, or variant selected by the customer

  • Change-of-mind purchases

  • Personalized or customized products

  • Gift cards

  • Products showing signs of use, washing, or damage caused after delivery

  • Items reported outside the specified reporting period

Return Shipping Costs

If a return is approved, responsibility for return shipping costs will be determined based on the nature of the issue.

  • If the error was caused by Thread Theory or the fulfillment partner, return shipping costs may be covered by us.

  • For other approved return requests, customers may be responsible for return shipping expenses.
